LYNN LIBRARY is an outlet for Amarillo College students to gather information and receive help from tutors and staff. The first floor, with its spacious atmosphere, gives stu- dents room to meet for group projects or with a tutor or just

a place to relax between classes. The second floor is filled with plenty of resources to help

with any assignment. “Help is made available by staff for students to learn

more about the research tools and the library’s database on the second floor,” said library instructor Emily Gilbert.

In addition, computers are available for students to use.

The second floor also has a scanner and a color printer available for academic use.

The use of the equipment is clearly marked, and fees are set for students’ college budgets.

The third floor is home to the ACcess Learning Center, the Center for Teaching and Learning and the English as a Second Language programs.

On the third floor, peer tutoring is scheduled. It also is available in the basement.

Students can check out books on the fourth floor. Cal- culators and other materials and equipment that may be re- quired for specific classes also can be checked out.

Lynn Library accepts library cards distributed through the Harrington Libraries Consortium, which include all Amarillo public libraries.

Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thurs- days, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays
