Social Work major: “To me, my Hispanic heritage means a lot because in the Mexican culture there is a lot of pride. It’s cool to be in a nation where you can be proud to be an American, but also proud to be a Mexican-American. This country is like a melting pot of cultures where you’ll always be able to appreciate your roots.
