SGA officers Attend Conference

SGA officer Lily Gamble reports from the APCA Conference in Little Rock, AR. APCA stands for the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities. This conference allows the SGA officers to attend leadership workshops where they learn from national leadership facilitators about topics such as recruiting members, programming activities for commuter campuses, teamwork and leadership development, risk management for campus activities, etc. The group will also watch showcases of comedians, musicians, poets, and other performers, as well as speakers on a variety of educational and motivations topics, and then work with other schools in our area of the country to book these acts to come on our campuses at a discounted price.
