The AC Common Reader author, Joy Jordan-Lake, has arrived in Amarillo for a series of events related to her novel Blue Hole Back Home.

The Amarillo Museum of Art is welcoming Jordan-Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday for a community-wide reception. The “Her Art” exhibition, celebrating AC’s Institutional Theme Moral Courage, will be on display and Palace Coffee and wine will be served.

She will give a lecture following the reception at 7 p.m. at the Globe-News Center for the performing arts as well as a book signing afterward.

All current AC students who attend the event may register for a $300 scholarship. The student must be present to win.
