Representatives of the University of Texas at Austin and Western Governors University visited Amarillo College the afternoon of Oct. 10.

It was a chance for students who plan to transfer to a four-year university to ask questions about and gain knowledge of the universities.

Katie Runde of UT and Joe Rodriguez of WGA were located in 130 Student Service Center to answer students’ questions and to help them understand the application and transfer processes.

“Somewhere between 15 and 20 students usually attend this event,” Runde said.

“It depends on what time of year it is and how close it is to our application deadline.”
