The flags were flying Thursday at Memorial Park.

Amarillo College’s intramural flag football teams went to battle in their second week of the season.

Los Aztecas team members said they were happy about their win over the anxious Legacy team. The “LA” quarterbacksaid he was pleased with his receivers’ performance and that he felt great about not having any turnovers.

All Balls had a close game against the Cougar Babies but pulled out a close win. The Hawkins ran up the score against High Class and came out with the win.

The two girls’ teams stepped on the field and had some great plays with That One Team crushing the Free Agents in a heated battle.

TOT had speed and a great arm from the leading quarterback. The Gators were taking it to the Spartans, and That One Team was showing Legacy how much girls rule when the rain came and stopped the game.

The games will be played between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. each Thursday at Memorial Park.
