Springtime is upon us again, although the random snow flurries and cold sprinkles would have you believe otherwise, and that means it’s time for fun in the sun while showing that Amarillo College spirit.

The Student Government Association threw its annual Spring Fling for students April 9 on the West Campus. It is an outdoor event that consists of free food, games, booths, music and a community exercise in fun.

The weather this year was cold and windy, but Spring Fling went on as planned in the courtyard between the West Campus lecture hall and Buildings B and D. The theme was CSI.

On April 18, the Washington Street Campus will unleash its annual Badgerama from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It also will feature music, food and games, but the theme will be different.

The theme this year for Badgerama will be Mardi Gras, so make sure to get your masks and beads ready.
