The Amarillo College Pantry serves students and faculty in need with two locations, one on the Washington Street Campus and another, just added this year, on the West Campus.
The pantry provides food and toiletries, giving a variety of choices.
The Amarillo College Pantry received a $1,000 donation Nov. 27 through AT&T from the national union, CWA.
Sandy Adams, an AC 1996 journalism graduate, is a union member and presented the donation to Lynaé Jacob and Karen Logan, who started the pantry last year in Parcells Hall on the Washington Street Campus.
“We want to pay it forward,” Adams said.
The union does drives for the community and hopes to host one soon for the AC Pantry.
