While the emphasis on STEM education is justified, as these fields are the drivers of innovation and economic growth, it is time to recognize that the arts are just as important in shaping well-rounded individuals and vibrant society.

Steve Jobs, the late Apple CEO, once said, “Technology alone is not enough – it’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the results that make our heart sing.”
In order to truly foster a balanced and comprehensive education system, it is essential to give the arts equal footing with STEM. This can be achieved by increasing funding for arts education, promoting interdisciplinary programs that integrate the arts and STEM and encouraging students to explore their creative interests alongside their scientific pursuits.
As society becomes increasingly global and interconnected, we must prioritize the arts as a vital component of a well-rounded education.
