A larger gap is the ideal shape in the minds of young girls.
If it sounds confusing, that’s because it is. Young girls are starving themselves to get thinner thighs and increase the thigh gap in order to be more popular.
I don’t understand why teenage girls do this. Their thoughts on beauty are completely backward. They don’t do it for the attention of boys; they do it for sport to see whose legs are skinnier or whose gap is wider. It is completely ridiculous and dangerous.
The danger in girls not being happy with their bodies is pretty obvious.
Girls always have high expectations when it comes to their bodies.
When they don’t achieve what they want, which is always the case, they sometimes go to extremes and turn to starving themselves.
What young girls and women need to know is how to love their curves no matter how big or small they are.
Beauty comes with knowing who you are and being proud of who you are.
Not wanting your thighs to touch won’t take you to college or help your GPA.
Girls should be competing to see who gets a better GPA, not who has a larger thigh gap.
Thigh gaps are not what is important.
Being the best you is what’s important.
