Police were searching for the suspect in a bank robbery near Amarillo College Tuesday.
A robbery took place about 1:20 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank on 2000 S. Washington Street, according to an Amarillo Police Department release.
The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s and about 6-1 to 6-2 with a tall slim build.
The suspect has a full beard with three horizontal stripes on one cheek, believed to be a marker or make up, according to the release.
He was seen wearing a black baseball cap, dark blue jeans and a black T-shirt that may have writing on it.
Police said the suspect used a note to commit the robbery.
The suspect may have gone westbound on a bicycle into the neighboring area, police said.
The same physical description matches the description of a robbery suspect at a Wells Fargo Bank on Georgia Street last week.
